URGENT UPDATES for NVBTA’s meeting tomorrow - Come Early

• We have a big surprise - Mike Stewart, VP and General Manager MWAA/IAD will present the MWAA updates.  Mike’s schedule is tight so we need to start the speakers by 11:45.  Please make sure to arrive by 11:30.  You can grab your lunch and we will be ready at 11:45.
• Come Early – we have 25 complimentary parking vouchers – first come- first served.
• Tom Michaels, United Managing Director Congressional Affairs will provide updates on what’s pending on the hill and the potential impact on airlines and travelers.
• Evan Koppel, United Regional Sales Director will be available for Q & A on what’s happening locally.
• United will be drawing names to give away some United Club Passes
• Due to construction hourly parking may be tight.  The next best option is in Parking Garage #1.  It is straight across from the terminal and there is an underground tunnel to access the terminal
• The MWAA conference room is on the ground level, by United Baggage Claim #1.

What travel related issues are currently pending or under potential review by Congress?  Join us as we hear from Tom MIchels, United Airlines Managing Director Congressional Affairs who will give us an update on the latest issues and their potential impact on airlines and the traveling public.  How would they impact your travelers and travel programs?  Listen to Tom’s incite and participate in the Q & A.

Tom Michels:  Managing Director, Congressional Affairs, United Airlines.  Tom previously served as Senior Advisor, Government Relations with Shell.  Prior to that Tom served as Legislative Director and chief energy advisor to Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA).  He has extensive energy knowledge having previously served as the Director of Public Affairs at the Nat’l Oceans Industries Association (NOIA).
